I would like to suggest that he who finds his calling or place in the body of Christ finds purpose and satisfaction. Everyone that God has called out of this world and into His Son's Kingdom has been called for a reason, God did not call you into life with nothing to do, He has a plan and a purpose for your life, He wants to give you a hope and a future, an expected ends.
Becoming Like Christ Jesus is the process we undertake through sanctification and transformation. Dying to self and being resurrected fully into our new man in Christ Jesus. '..You have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness..'Rom6:22. 'Whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.'Rom8:29.

Gods way of escape
We have a choice when temptation comes, two doors to choose from.... walking in the spirit or walking in the flesh."..each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own desires(lust), and enticed. Then when desire(lust) is conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, when full grown, brings forth death." James1:15NKJV
"Walk in the spirit that you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh..."Galatians5:16Evil desires, lust, guilt, condemnation, sin = death - fallen man
God,Jesus(Word),Truth,Holy Spirit,faith = life - resurrected man
To stay in sin all we have to do is nothing. Like the quote from Edmund Burke,
"For evil to flourish, all it takes is for good people to do nothing"To be free....

A Heart for Others
If we are not experiencing any trouble in our lives at any one time, we are probably not alive. The word of God tells us in this life we will have trouble and perilous times will come.
In our journey of salvation in becoming like Christ Jesus and being transformed into spotless bride, we will and do experience many growing pains into maturity.
The difference between our troubles and the worlds troubles though, is that God will use the troubles that we go through to produce good and everlasting fruit, in us and those around about us. That's happy news.
